Alright- I'll start this off simple, I was born in a bad neighborhood, and when I say bad, I mean it. I would go to bed to the sound of sirens, the only way I could fall asleep is when my mother would sing to me softly, it made all the other noises fall silent. Maybe that's where my love for music started, pfft I don't know. Before I go any further I should tell you I grew up in Oakland, Cali. When I was around 7 my weird habit of taking midnight runs started-- it helped me clear my head and sometimes I'd just go for miles. My mom died when I was around 12, I was real sad, but my father took it hard. He stoped going into work and that's why he got fired, this is when our problems started getting bigger. Him and I spent weeks looking for a place to live after we were evicted, we spent nights on the street that felt like years. Eventually we started living in a motel, I spent most of my days scared, scared of what was to come and what I was going through right at the moment. Dad and I soon moved to Lakewood, I was in 8th grade and ecstatic he found a job. Of course we were moving across the country- but that seemed like a little problem compared to what I'd been though.
