-<span style="font-family: skia">Gecko sat in front on the crystal water, head bowed slightly. His tiny kit frame trembled in the cold but he didn't complained, waiting for his father to finish with him. The heavy coat of dog fur draping across his shoulder, creating an annoying itch. He hated the fancy coat and the weird necklaces his father made him wear to visit the ancestors. It was just for show, parading Gecko around like a young god. Gulping at the thought of attention he buried his muzzle into his paws only to be asked firmly to raise it again. He was never miss-treated but sometimes he wish he was, so he had a reason to actually leave his parents. His father got the smallest, lightest necklace and gently put it around Gecko's neck. It was his favourite necklace, the one made out of fish bones covered in stains from different berries. He was happy for a second before he realised why it was on, he was being paraded around to the Pool of Stars for all cats to see. Anxiety clutched at him as he was nudged up to his paws "It's time to go" His fathers gruff voice sounded next to his ear and he started forward.</span>

-Gecko's heart sped up rapidly, his narrow chest expanding at an incredible tempo. He was standing outside the jagged rocks of the Pool of Stars. Flinching as his father head-butted him gently in the back he scrambled in, not speaking. He wasn't surprised when no one followed him in, this was something he had to do alone. His luminous pale brown eyes locked on the bright blue water and he shuffled towards it. He leaned forward to touch his nose to it but something shoved him forward. Falling head-first into the water, he was dropping like a rock. Water raced through his pelt grabbing at him like fire, churning through his nose and into his body. Suddenly images flashed through his eyes so fast he couldn't render them, mewling desperately. Just as he thought his head would explode he was pushed up through the water and into the air. He landed on the rocks painfully, his body writhing. The fire-like pain still crawled over his body and in his desperation he got to his paws and sped out. He completely ignored his anxious father, jumping over him in a moment of absolute panic and raced into the forest. At some point his eyes rolled into his head and he smacked into the bus, his body jerking uncontrollably. </span>

He was supposed to go to the place of stars tomorrow, but he knew that couldn't happen. He knew in his heart he didn't belong in his unique tribe. He whispered, his voice shaking. The heavily scarred feline rose from the corner of her den "Is it time, Gecko?" Gecko nodded quietly. "Come here then, young one" Gecko instantly darted towards her "Have you got it?" He said in his breathless tone. Kiara nodded, showing him the fancy carved earring "It will hurt, cats your age don't usually get earrings" She then brought the hot tip to his ear, pushing it through the skin. Pain made Gecko's vision flash white but he bit back a cry "Thank you, Kiara, I will never forget you or this tribe" Not waiting for her reply Gecko raced out before he lost his nerve. He closed his eyes and listened, hearing the faint wail of a beautiful but sad song in the distant. He had been hearing it for weeks and now was his chance to finally see who sung it. His small frame starting forward, easily navigating through the tricks of his biome,heart hammering in his chest.</span>

-Gecko is a rather weird looking cat. Like any other jungle cat his has powerful hind-quarters and a thick back. After that things get weird, his ribs sink in and his stomach sucks up. On the front half of his body his is skinny and narrow, with a small face and large ears. His right ear flips into his ear giving him a almost cute look. His pelt is a pure white with brown/black dots spotting it, legs and face. He has uneven stripes on his four legs and tail. The tips of his ears are a darker grey with enhances his blue eyes and velvety nose. He is in overall a kittish looking cat.

-Personal wise Gecko is a very shy cat. He hates speaking in crowds, or being the centre of attention. He also doesn't socialise much and therefore doesn't have much friends. Despite that is very intelligent and thinks quick enough to get out of lots if not all situations. He is very loyal and dedicated to his work as a Shaman/Medicine Cat and loves his job. Just because he's shy doesn't mean he can't fight and could easily stand up for himself. If you do manage to befriend him, then you'll realise he actually is a very warm and funny cat. If in the mood he can drop a joke at the tip of a hat but if you compliment him, he will most likely shut up. He finds it stupid to compliment someone when it's obvious it's funny or good and finds it awkward being complimented.
